Corniche of Diamond Hotel features a Cocina Filipina festival by Chef Bruce Lim, They’re highlighting some local dishes infused with international flavors, familiar dishes done with a unique twist.
This is their Sinigang sa Batuan with Grilled Pork Belly; it has a more fruity and distinct taste than your usual sinigang and oh that grilled pork belly, succulent and the fatty bits almost melts in your mouth along with the really nice soup base of bright flavors.
Tried Kulinarya Kitchen at the Power Plant Mall, Rockwell. It’s been there since the mall opened and they’ve been in the business for quite some time. It’s a really, really late find for me, a nice place that serves good comfort food that leaves one longing, wanting to go back to the place and try so many more.
This is their surf and turf, probably one of the best I had. A heavenly combination of sinful beef belly that almost melts in your mouth and a shrimp thermidor casserole, rich, tender and comforting.
This one’s a really memorable food trip, not because of the good food, I never thought that I’ll be able to eat this many greens ever. I’m a shameless meat lover, and salads aren’t really my thing and that’s no secret. But I guess on that day for lunch, I was a traitor of my bacon loving brethren.
When we have food trips around the Bonifacio High Street area I can’t help but to notice this seemingly awesome dessert place. I’ve always had my eye at Cake Club. It’s been at my bucket list of go-to restaurants for quite some time now. Last weekend I finally had the chance to try the place and had brunch there.
Finally got the chance to try Corniche at Diamond Hotel last week, Yey! I’ve wanted to try this buffet place for quite some time.(part of my long and growing bucket list of go-to’s) and it was quite timely that they’re having a Malaysian Food Festival and I was more than happy to give it a go.
This is their parmesan cheese and herb crusted salmon. Awesome stuff!
Coffee is one of my weakness; I should at least have a cup or two daily. Recently we tried Kuppa (pronounced as cuppa) Roastery and Cafe at BGC. We had an awesome lunch there and splurged on their wide selection of food and beverages.
With my constant love for munching on guilty pleasure entrées and pampabata dishes it’s nice to munch on healthy food for a change. Quantum Cafe changed my perception on healthy food (dull and tasteless) it’s a nice and healthy alternative.
Went to Apartment 1B with Carlo, needed to discuss a couple of work related stuff.
This won’t be like my normal restaurant visit post, won’t rate the place like I usually do. (I think it would be unfair since we only had breakfast here and there’s a lot of choices on the menu) Will do a full review / write up of the place soon!
