Started My Day with Nutella Indulgence

I can’t think of a better way to start my day than to indulge in one of my favorite comfort food, nutella :p

Last Friday night, Diane told me she wanted to try that beignet from my post about Paris Delice.

So I insisted on going with her. (lame excuse to munch on that nutella beignet)

Then I got an awesome idea, a couple of restaurant visits where I’ll try all things nutella! Sounds good to me! So off we go.

Our first stop was Paris Delice (Makati Ave.)

We tried their Nutella Beignet

Their beignet (made from deep fried dough, like donuts) was great! With generous amount of nutella filling, I couldn’t ask for more. The quality of the bread is good too.

For more info. about the place do check my post here.

Then we went to XO kitchen (Jupiter Street) to try their Ferrero Rocher Buchi. When we asked them what does XO mean, they said it’s extraordinary, they serve Chinese dishes.

XO kitchen gave a delightful twist to your normal buchi, instead of the normal monggo filling, they use different chocolate brands.

It is served hot, so when you bite into it it has that semi melted chocolate melt-in-your-mouth goodness that I loved. Definitely a great treat.

By that time Diane was quite full, saying she’s not used to eat sweets for her first meal (hahaha sorry Diane! my bad :() Diane and I part ways afterwards, she was quite full and had to attend to business stuff and I went to Greenbelt for my last stop.

I wouldn’t write a post about Nutella without including this, one of my all-time favorite dessert, La Delice of Cafe Breton(Greenbelt).

a crepe with banana filling topped with nutella spread, almonds, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream

What’s not to like about it?! Easily at the top of my list when I’m craving for nutella stuff. The crepe is warm so the banana filling has this almost mushy feel to it add the nutella filling and the crisp from the almond bits for great texture, plus that scoop of vanilla ice cream that adds to that hot and cold combination. It’s really a blissful experience eating it.

Spoonful of Heaven 😀

😆 <— Me, on my way home. What a great way to start my day!

  1. Your post made me crave for more Nutella and also that Andes Mint Buchi 🙁 I must try these stores very soon but do you know if they have a store located in QC? Medyo malayo ang Makati sa akin, haha. But if the travel from QC to Makati is worth it then I won’t complain.
